Connect
Volunteerism is integral to the core of WHCP’s programmatic success. We are an organization formed through the hard work of dedicated volunteers committed to harm reduction and dignity for all individuals regardless of circumstance.
If you would like to volunteer with WHCP please contact Program Director Taeko Frost at 212-923-7600, ext. 13, we have many opportunities for individuals to get involved!

Help us grow!
Is your school, church, or civic organization interested in hosting a sock or toiletry drive for WHCP? The majority of WHCP participants are homeless and in need of basic living supplies. Any level of assistance your organization could provide will bring relief and appreciation from individuals with very few resources.
Please call 212-923-7600 for more information on how you can help.
WHCP is currently accepting letters of interest for individuals interested in sitting on the WHCP Board of Trustees.
We are specifically soliciting interest from Washington Heights residents and community members, people of color and diverse experience, members of the LGBT community, individuals affected by drug use and/or the HIV/AIDS virus, those with fundraising experience, those with legal expertise, scholars whose work connects with our mission statement, and those whose philanthropic interests involve supporting harm reduction work within underserved communities.
Please send your letter of interest to:
