Young Professional Board



Washington Heights Corner Project’s (WHCP) Young Professionals Board (YPB) seeks young professionals add to our vibrant and diverse membership.

The WHCP YPB seeks to provide support to the WHCP Board of Trustees, Management, Staff, and Volunteers as they work towards eliminating the high-risk drug practices of the Washington Heights drug-using community.

Goals:
• To increase WHCP’s capital and public visibility through fundraising efforts;
• To increase the availability of products donated for use by WHCP’s clients; and
• To support WHCP Management, Staff, and Volunteers in their administrative duties.

Potential members should be young professionals interested in:
• Harm reduction,
• Eliminating the practices of high-risk drug users,
• The Washington Heights Community, or
• Gaining Board experience

The YPB generally meets quarterly; committees meet more frequently. There is no cost to join the Board; we request only your time and talents.
