Participant Advisory Board Mission Statement

The Washington Heights CORNER Project (WHCP) Participant Advisory Board represents the participants of WHCP and our interests. We believe program participants should have a say int he policies and rules of the office. Our purpose is to provide guidance in the hope of enhancing services provided by staff, peer workers, interns, and volunteers. Our goals are to ensure quality service provision in an environment where everyone (participants and workers alike) are respected members of our community.

Goals of the Participant Advisory Board are to:

1. Be a vehicle for airing issues that participants are having with service delivery
2. Requesting different or enhanced services
3. Requesting different or enhanced outreach supplies
