WHCP is relatively new pro-active harm reduction agency in the Washington Heights community. We provide street and office-based sterile syringe access, sterile injection supplies, safer sex supplies, safer smoking supplies and other harm reduction resources. We are invested in improving the health and well-being of the drug using community and aim to halt the spread of preventable disease transmission such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and other blood-borne infections which affect individuals, family, and community health.

In addition to providing free harm reduction resources and education to community members, we are also able to connect participants with drug treatment services, shelter, food pantries, clothing distribution, legal services, and other programs to help them on the path to wellness and recovery.

WHCP would like to take this opportunity to thank various coalitions, community based organizations, community leaders, and individuals who have helped contribute to the success of WHCP:
